1. Agreement to Terms
By booking moving services with Bird Dog Moving, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before scheduling your move.
2. Service Description
Bird Dog Moving provides residential and commercial moving services, packing services, and related relocation assistance throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
3. Booking and Payment
- A deposit may be required to secure your moving date
- Final payment is due upon completion of services
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled move may incur fees
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory and access information
- Prepare items for moving according to our guidelines
- Inform us of any hazardous materials or restricted items
- Ensure clear access to both origin and destination locations
- Be present or designate an authorized representative during the move
5. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:
- Hazardous materials or flammable substances
- Explosives or ammunition
- Perishable food items
- Plants (subject to restrictions)
- Pets or live animals
- Illegal items or contraband
6. Liability and Insurance
- Bird Dog Moving is fully licensed and insured
- Basic coverage is included with all moves
- Additional insurance coverage is available upon request
- Claims must be filed within 30 days of service completion
- We are not liable for items not properly disclosed or packed by customer
7. Estimates and Final Charges
- Estimates are based on information provided by the customer
- Final charges may vary based on actual time, materials, and services required
- Additional fees may apply for stairs, long carries, or special handling
- We will inform you of any significant changes to the estimate
8. Delays and Cancellations
- We will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window
- Weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances may cause delays
- Customers may cancel or reschedule with appropriate notice
- Late cancellation fees may apply
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If necessary, disputes shall be resolved under Oklahoma state law in the appropriate jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
Bird Dog Moving reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date.
